Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee

King Alfred the Great and our Common Law - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee

King Alfred the Great and our Common Law - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee
The famous German Church Historian Rev. Professor Dr.J.H. Kurtz called King Alfred the greatest and noblest of all the monarchs England has ever had. King Alfred applied all the energy of his mind to the difficult problems of government; to the emancipation of his Christian country by driving out the Pagan Danish invaders and robbers; and then to improving the internal condition of the land. Alfred is perhaps best of all remembered for his famous Law Code. King Alfred's Book of Laws or Dooms came forth from the laws of Kent, Mercia and Wessex. All these attempted to blend the Mosaic Code with the Christian principles of Celto-Brythonic Law and old Germanic customs... the laws of Alfred, continually amplified by his successors, grew into that body of Customary Law which was administered as the 'Common Law' by the Shire and the Hundred Courts.

The Godly life of John Calvin - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee

The Godly life of John Calvin - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee
The Protestant Reformation had not yet begun. Yet the Dark Ages of many centuries of ignorance were about to end. For the art of printing had recently been invented. So the available number of Bibles was now steadily increasing. And the deepening study of that book, was clearly exposing the corruption of the Church. Martin Luther was still an unconverted monk aged 26 when Jean Cauvin alias John Calvin first saw the light of day. In this book Dr Lee gives a simple but practical account of the life of Calvin.

Adventures with God - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee

Adventures with God - Rev. Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee
I have called my own book Adventures with God, and subtitled it Some of the Lord's Dealings with Francis Nigel Lee. Why? Because in it, I have tried to describe only those events I think disclose our gracious God's dealings with the unworthy sinner penning these lines. In enclosing several testimonials and references by my professors and employers and friends here within, I have done so only to try and show the great grace of God and the patient graciousness of those so testifying -- toward the deeply-flawed writer of this Introduction. Such kind testimonials have all been far more generous than this sinner could ever deserve.

Always Victorious! The Earliest Church Not Pre - But Post-Millennial

Always Victorious! The Earliest Church Not Pre - But Post-Millennial
Many modern Pretribulationists and other Dispensationalists claim that most (if not all) of the first Early Church Fathers were Rapturists. Such believe Jesus could return "any moment" to resurrect dead Christians and then secretly "rapture" His dwindling though still-living Church "up in the air" before "the great tribulation" of ungodly earthlings. Thereafter, the Church would then return and rule with Christ on Earth for a thousand years - until God would resurrect the wicked dead. That notion is false. Neither the Church of the Older Testament (even when under foreign domination) nor the always-struggling and often-persecuted Church of the Newer Testament ever expected to dwindle or to be whisked away; but only to conquer this great planet Earth under her victorious Messiah. That Church expected God not to rapture her - but to heal the World His Son had come to save.

6th-Century Christian Britain from King Arthur to Rome's Austin

6th-Century Christian Britain from King Arthur to Rome's Austin
Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee first presents early evidence for the historicity of Arthur, the Celto-Brythonic 'High King' of Britain. Arthur established his presence in Ireland, Iceland, Dalriada, Pictavia, Norway and perhaps even elsewhere in Northern Europe. He also took a strong position against Rome, and refused all payment of tribute to that imperial(istic) city. Arthur defeated the Saxons in twelve major battles -- culminating in his own great heroism at Mt. Badon in A.D. 516. From this starting point in the time of Arthur, Prof. Dr. F.N. Lee takes us on a fascinating survey of sixth century Christian Britain, and the various personalities, and peoples that who dominated the times.
